The Page facelift looks good. And the titles and layout are now topnotch. It didn’t see any reference to Pay Pal or the new launch yet. I refreshed the page too.

Okay, thank you, Rusty! The PayPal information is still on a draft. I’ll get that published asap.

It’s been a while since I posted. I can’t believe how much time marketing my book has taken up. It’s been fun though; I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

It’s been harder than I thought to find charity partners for book signings. I can understand. They’re busy, even if they are excited about working with me, they might be realistic and think that unless I sell hundreds of books at the book signing they really won’t get much in the way of a donation.

I was thinking that getting publicity would be a motivator. But, I think it’s just going to take time.
I’ve redirected my priorities. I’ll continue to coordinate any book signings with charities that come my way (through old or new contacts). However, I’m now going to put more effort into locating churches in and around my route through NC, SC, TN, VA, and back to NC.
I’ve found one church that will let me give my testimony (I promised not to make it a commercial for my book) if after the service, the pastor would let me set up and sell books in the back of the church.

I figure on attending a total of 11 services (2 each on 4 Sundays, and 1 each on 3 Wednesday s). I’ll donate a portion of my book sales to that church’s Deacon’s fund.

At this point my Southern book tour has 2 firm, book signings (Main Exchange at Camp LeJeune on 30 June and the Sons of Confederate Veterans on 11-14 July). I’m hopeful about scheduling a book signing at the Main Exchange at Ft. Lee, VA).

When I return I have 2 firm signings at Ft. Irwin, CA (31 Jul in the Dust Bowl; and 1 Aug at the Main Exchange). Tomorrow I have a meeting for another book signing with a Barstow, CA charity.

That’s all for now, I have to run off and visit the local Verizon store. My wife doesn’t want me carrying a lot of cash around. I ordered a “go payment” attachment for my android phone. Problem is I can’t get the phone to load the app. Hopefully it’ll get installed tonight.

That’s all for now, I’m scheduled to leave for NC on Wednesday morning 27 June. I’ll post at least once before I leave and several times while I’m on my tour.

That’s very exciting, Jim! I think it would be great if you could post on High Desert Blogging along your book signing journey!!
