Rusty, Owner of HighDesertBlogging.com

Rusty is a gifted writer and also experienced in editing, copywriting, ghostwriting, and museums. She is a talented lady, not only in blogging (check out Rusty’s awesome website and digital magazine coming this year) the only one I know who isn’t afraid to deal with Mohave Green Snakes and Rattlesnakes! I think she knows what every kind of High Desert creepy-crawly thing is. It’s a pleasure to have Rusty as a part of HighDesertBlogging.com.

What is High Desert Blogging all about? It is a blog about the High Desert in Southern California. Does that mean you have to live in the High Desert to blog here? Not at all. If you want to submit an article related to the following High Desert topics, we want to hear from you.

  1. Places in the High Desert to visit
  2. Route 66
  3. High Desert Museums
  4. Things to do in the High Desert
  5. Shopping in the High Desert
  6. Living in the High Desert
  7. Gardening in the High Desert
  8. The Arts of the High Desert
  9. Blogging
  10. Regional Events

…and more. But you get the idea – relatable to the High Desert. If you want to blog about a topic that is not on the list above, email us about submitting a guest blog post on your topic.

The High Desert has several antique shops, an interesting Southwestern shop with the coolest and most unique gift items and Southwest decor, thrift and gift shops, coffee shops, and more shops, fascinating sites, fun parks, and lakes for family outings. The High Desert has interesting people, fascinating sites to see, beautiful scenery, and businesses to serve its communities. I go out and meet the people who own and manage these businesses, admire the scenery, learn about the fascinating surrounding sites, take pictures and blog about it all. That’s what High Desert Blogging is about – a blog about High Desert activities, adventures, attractions, people – and blogs.

The articles on this blog are written either by people who live in the High Desert, love the High Desert, or know about High Desert people, history, events, businesses, or other interesting facts about the area. Article submissions are considered by the editor and/or editorial assistants. Articles or information published on this blog do not necessarily express or reflect my personal views and are not endorsed by me.

Thank you Angie for your direction. I will pay for the seminar on Friday morning cause that’s a pay day for me and also the last day to pay. No I never procrastinate. I suppose you need to subscribe to see inside your blog, but I did look around as much as I can. One thing would be good to know how much it is going to be to subscribe before you hit the button but maybe that’s how we get the curious. I’m looking forward to setting up my blog and to working with some people who are already doing it. Thanks for introducing me to everything.

You’re welcome, Linda. It’s free to subscribe to High Desert Blogging. It does cost to join the network, however. To read more about that, see the Network page.

Hi Angie. May I ask if your blog really has to do with business in the High Desert? I keep getting referred over to your blog from MeetUp but you know that business…crooked as a dog’s hind leg.
I am looking for CAD user groups and product origination/developers group but the High Desert sure seems, well, deserted.
At this point I would appreciate getting a lead on ANY product makers group, engineering, or even local Google Hangout!
I just have not been able to find anything up here.

    Thank you very much!
    Carson

Look up meetup.com/high-desert-entrepreneurs. It’s not specifically a product makers group but is a group of entrepreneurs who meet monthly.
