Battle of the Bands at The Village Grind in Wrightwood

The Village Grind, Wrightwood, CA

The Village Grind hosted Battle of the Bands in Wrightwood Saturday, April 7th.

The Village Grind is an espresso bar and cafe and also serves wine in The Wine Cellar. Unique, cool art for sale  is displayed on the walls inside the cafe. It’s a Wi-Fi cafe with a few tables inside and decks outside with more tables and sitting areas.

Now that spring has arrived in Wrightwood, Saturday was a perfect day for the outdoor Battle of the Bands that was hosted by The Village Grind. Owners Greg and Linda extended their friendly welcome to all the guests. The Beef Tri-Tip was featured on yesterday’s menu and tasted scrumptious. High Desert Greg had the Tri-Tip sandwich meal, and Linda prepared my Trip-Tip on a salad. When you visit The Village Grind in Wrightwood, you’ll enjoy the food. They serve only the best, and they offer the best service to boot.

So what is Battle of the Bands?

The Battle of the Bands was a line up of several bands that performed at The Village Grind. When we arrived, Jeff Steinmann was singing and playing his guitar.

    Angie,

I voted for Bitter Honey. Kim the main singer has such a awesome voice i just can’t believe anyone would vote for any other band unless it’s their mother voting for their little sweety. Rock on B H.

Yes, Kim is definitely talented with a beautiful voice. I do enjoy listening to Bitter Honey. I liked the variety of bands in Saturday’s line up at The Village Grind. Listening to Tom Meikle’s country style made me feel like I was back home in Texas. Loved it!
